Habilitation

Habilitation services are specially designed learning opportunities to help an individual develop skills and gain independence. Habilitation may be provided to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving the self-help, social development and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings. It is also intended to provide training in essential activities required to meet personal and physical needs, communication needs, and independent living skills.

Goals of Habilitation Services:

  • Enable the individual to acquire knowledge and skills and be a valued member of his/her community based on his/her own choices
  • Provide training to increase or maintain the individual’s self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills to live and participate with his/her family in the community
  • Assist the individual in achieving and maintaining a quality of life that promotes his/her priorities and vision of the future

If you are interested in making an impact in your community by becoming a habilitation provider for a child or adult with a Developmental Disability, please contact Ashli@anodyneaz.com for more information.

Provider Testimonial

“As one of the first HCBS providers for Anodyne, I can say that my hiring process through Misty and Ashli was very smooth. Everything was explained very easy and understandable manner and I was able to start working right away. If I ever have any questions I can ask any of the Anodyne admin team and get an answer right away. Although this was my first company I used to work Respite, I can say that I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.”
